I was so excited to work with singer, artist, peace activist and writer, Alicia Bay Laurel. All of her artwork and music exude a jazzy gentleness of spirit. In preparation for her tour of Japan, she needed to get her new CD art and text organized into digital files within a tight deadline. She wanted to have her new CD, LIVE IN JAPAN, ready to ship within a few weeks. For this project, I optimized the color of her digitized drawing so it would have a good balance of brightness and contrast. As per Alicia's design, I created the digital files for the booklet and CD package. I also assembled the lettering in red and blue with the cover art pictured above.
